This from a page in my journal book...thought I would share this with you. More of this is yet to come.

What is a spirit?
What is a soul?
Are they one or are they both separated?

To me -- the way I see this - a spirit is a personality with its own degrees of passion, drive, desires, etc. in different areas; a soul is the "trill", the "heart" that needs a host to reside in, such as a body, in order to carry on through many or few lifetimes for eternity, or until its enlightenment level.
A soul can be either very old or new.
A spirit is like a snowflake, a fingerprint - there's only one of a kind.

New spirits are always born in the new physical bodies.
Sometimes, new souls will be born within the body.
Sometimes, a old one will reenter the world in a new body.
