another weekend gone by...
Thursday night, I went to the WNBA with Jason and Sean. Jason won 3 free tickets from his work. Apparently, his work hand out free sports tixs weekly. Arrived at America West Arena to meet up with them both. It was then when Jason gave me the tix and on it, I saw the word "suite". Went OHHH oh nice! I was glad that I decided to go despite the fact that I do not follow sports at all, but I do enjoy live games. Turned out that both boys do not follow sports either. Sean asked us.. is it basketball, right? LOL It was Phx Mercury vs. Seattle Storm. The Storm cooled down Mercury at the end of the game. We talked about porn most of the night. I drank my 7 dollars Ultra Michelob and left.
Friday, I finally got in touch with Gino and asked him to meet with me so he could give me what he said he would give me. modem and webcam and some ethernet cords and cable cords and etc to help me get started so I can install high speed internet. Gino and I met up at his work. I hadn't seen him since at the yard sale at Tj and Sean's. His pager was broken for a while. I found out from Carla at GLOW meeting in Casa Grande 2 weeks ago. That's why I hadn't heard from him for so long.
Saturday, I went to Cox to pick up the Fast Connect Kit box then to Fry's Electronics to meet with Gino again there. I bought a 100 feet ethernet wire. For that, I had to cough up 40 bucks. *exspratsed sigh* We walked around in Fry's some more. It's almost like a bookstore. A child in candy store, that we both were.
Gino came with me at my home and had lunch then he helped me with my cords and setting up modem and all. Thanks, Gino! Upon his leaving, he happened to spot a picture of Jaime and Colby with their daughter, Caitlin and he went *open mouth-jaw dropped* you know colby??" I said, yeah of course, he's married to my best friend. And they are coming to visit me in 2 weeks, would you like to see him when he's here?" Naturally, of course, we already planned a dinner together. So I am looking forward to that.
Actually, I'm looking forward to their visit mainly. :)
