Getting my freak on
Right now, I'm listening to Missy E's 'Get ur freak on'. Just love that song and I have it on repeat one for now. I got inspired to listen to her by reading larry's wishlist via his blog. heh.

Well, good news today. I got a job! Yep, that's right, my friends, I got hired. I start next week after I turn in my paperworks. Notary, h.s. diploma copy, fingerprints card, tax forms, and um, one more form or two, I forgot.
My position will be "Job Coach/Supervisor". Has a nice ring to it, huh? ;o) My duties would be very various each day. Im glad about that part because I don't really like rountines when it comes to working at jobs. Just drives me insane inside. Anyway, my position as a supervisor will be in the Scanning Dept where clients from a group home comes to work at and scan as many documents as they can each day. I have to oversee them to ensure it goes smoothly and effectively as well to reach their own quotas of scanned documents by end of the day. Also, I would be sorta everyone's secretary. That part I am a little overwhelmed with, but I shall be fine in time. I would be working in two different department also. *sigh* That place is a like a maze! I will be feeling like a lab rat for the first 2 weeks there. augh. owell. My salary would be paid by the state because my position is state funded. I hope the job lasts very long time! It better! Wish me Luck for next week, guys! ;-D I look forward to actually having leftover money for taking care of my cats and mom plus to spulrge (sp?) a little on myself once in a while and MAINLY: to start my fucking IRA savings already!! So I can buy food to eat or buy a shirt when I am 74 years old!

Next week from today, my palsy pals are coming from Pennsylvania to visit me for 5 days. Those weird people are Jaime, Colby and their daughter, Caitlin. I'll have to try juggle them and my new job. We'll see what happens and how that happens also.
I so much look forward to their visit.

I haven't been reading a book since I moved to Tempe. I should start again. I'm thinking of Harry Potter the 4th year. I bought 5th, but I never read 4th. The reason why I have the 5th now before the 4th is because I found the 5th at a yard sale. It was 5 bucks for the hardback one, so that was a good deal I couldn't pass up. As for the 4th book, I'm gonna borrow it from the library by this Friday or maybe Thursday, depends on my plans.
and I hear there's 6th one coming out this summer...another reason to gotta to catch up!!

Hm, I forgot that I already finished my tea. *sigh*
anyway..
Another thing I noticed about my blog is that I do not have many fans. Sometimes I do like comments on my blog. Owell. whatever. So? I may do feel a little bit unloved here except you guys Ray, Lar, 258 & Jam.

I'm so excited about The Chronicles of Narina coming out this December. When you get into the site from the link, make sure you move your mouse to the lion at top (no cllicking), then chose what you want to see or learn about. For those who have never read the books, click on 'The Chronicles' to understand Narnia. To learn about the movie, click on the obvious, 'The Movie'.
Probably most likely that I would go see it on its first day of release, no captions or open-captioned. I wonder if Disney plans to produce all 7 stories into 7 movies. Great Britian has already made 3 movies out of those Chroniles. (4 stories into 3 movies, actually) Each movie was made each year in 1980, 1981 and 1982. Their technology sucks big time, and isn't very Hollywoodized, but it is still interesting nevertheless. I might buy the set anyway plus this Disney's one when it comes out on DVD. C.S. Lewis wrote the Chronicles over 50 years ago and it is still loved by many today. It is said that his stories has a lot of similarity to Christian stories. Many metphors and the likes like that.

Also, I am very curious about this movie (or better link) since I am a fan of Neil Gaiman's work. I also adore most of Jim Henson Company's productions. Since both of them are working together on this movie, it should be good as it sounds.
Why didn't they decide to make Sandman instead!? Maybe too creepy or confusing for many.

Ok, Get ur freak on, people! I'm a-gonna stumble around for a bit before bed.
