happy earth day!!! and plus happy birthday

well, actually, to me, everyday is an earth day. i hate az state for not having a recycling system at all. i miss ny's system very much. i remember loving going down to the basement of my apt building to sort out all of our hefty bags to be placed into correct recycling bins. i actually enjoyed that.
dc's was very bad, too. they have just one little basket. when i first started living in dc, to my surprise once i first saw that isty-bisty basket, i was like, "wha?? thats it? thats all? my stuff will overflow that!". i was at loss for words. i couldn't believe it.

well, anyway, i'm gonna try and see if there's any celebration nearby here in phoenix, az. actually, i was supposed to be in sedona today and tomorrow visiting a friend from cottonwood and then go camping, but it turned out that she got a new job just last week. she totally forgot about me coming to visit so we dropped it for now. instead, i'm gonna go and see her next month after she's all settled in with her new graphic designing job.

wish me luck finding something today to do for our big ole momma earth. and you guys should too! do something, either small or big, for today, please. it will benefit both of you. our earth and yourself. you'll feel good, you'll see. :-) let me know what you did today for earth day, okay?

also, today is someone else's day. i wish to say happy birthday to jake temby who would have been 27 today. friends of jake, let's cheer him one. :-D
