Sheryl Crow rocks!

(This song is from her second album in maybe 1996? All of my sheryl crow albums are in storage in cali, my bad. I only have one cd with her hits here in ariz with me now. Oh wait, I found it...yep, I was right, 1996!)

"Everyday Is A Winding Road"

I hitched a ride with a vending machine repairman
He said he's been down this road more than twice
He was high on intellectualism
I've never been there, but the brochure looks nice

1-Jump in, let's go, lay back, enjoy the show
Everybody gets high, everybody gets low
These are the days when anything goes

2-Everyday is a winding road
I get a little bit closer
Every day is a faded sign
I get a little bit closer to feeling fine

He's got a daughter he calls "Easter"
She was born on a Tuesday night
I'm just wondering why I feel so alone
Why I'm a stranger in my own life
(repeat 1, 2, 2)

I've been swimming in a sea of anarchy
I've been living on coffee and nicotine
I've been wondering if all the things I've seen
Were ever real, were ever really happening
(rpt 2...)

(*sigh* She makes me want to learn how to play a guitiar! Her music is very smoky/musky at times. I love women who are songwriters-singers.)
