Highlights Only

Few friends have been paging me for weeks now asking me if I was ever gonna be back in the blogworld, here I am, guys. Happy now?
Well, some stuff has happened since I last blogged which was in October. My life isn't that exciting so I'll only input the highlights here.
October= For the AZ Deaf Theatre, I was in a skits play right before Halloween; stayed home for Halloween- was supposed to go to a party, but nah.
November= spent 2 weeks in New York.
One whole week with a close, dear friend of mine, TJ in Peekskill (upstate NY). It was so serene there. All woodsy and townsy. And then there's him,TJ, all to myself. I stayed at his home where he lives with his gramma. His gramma is sweet. I like her. TJ and I basically hung out together everyday. We both never shut up. Walked around his town, watched movies at night (seems like it was every night), snuggling up in his bed, yapping time away. hm, I miss him a lot now. During the week, we got to hang with Jaime twice because she n her daughter was in NY visiting her family. I had a lot of fun with her baby daughter. On Sunday which was my birthday, I emailed to some friends who I wanted to see on my bday at a restaurant I had chose in the Bronx. There were 10 of us in total. Only 3 or 4 could not make it. It was nice lunch, nice catching up with old friends (all from diff stages in my life: childhood, hs and gally). Later on, I left TJ's home on a Tuesday. I got sick by getting my period that day. What a way to travel on train to Bronx, ughh. My aunt picked me up at a station in the Bronx.
Then 2nd week was spent with my family and old friends... I had a good time overall. After my aunt picked me up, I spent a quiet evening/night with my aunt's family. The next night, she and I went to pick up my mom at the Laguardia. Her flight got delayed some so we went in real late to get her. We were sleepy. heh. Oh yeah, I just remembered that I was limping that night. I thought to myself, why? oh yes that's right. Earlier that night, I had gotten a new tattoo in Manhattan. I went with Jared (hs friend) and his girlfriend and he also bought TJ. It was so great seeing Times Square again at nighttime. We passed thru that area to get to the tattoo place. I got another star on my foot. Actually, one blue star on my toe. I love it. Jared's girlfriend also got a new tattoo on her back, a coqui frog because she's puetro rican. It was a beautiful work. The boys didn't get anything. TJ def had the tat bug. He wanted one real bad and he kept looking thru the posters of flash arts. He was disappointed that he didn't get one that time. He was so ready with his wad of money. I feel bad for him. I know soon enough he'll get a new one eventually when it's right time. Anyway, back to picking up mom at the airport, we got her, went home and gabbed a bit, then went to bed. Thursday was Thanksgiving. Enough said.. self-explainatory. Then Friday rolled by, I bought TJ with me to my cousin's wedding. I was SO glad he was with me because if he wasn't, I would feel too left out. My entire family is hearing. All night I was polite to many people. I couldn't dance much because my toe was swollen and very sensitive, but I did manage to whisk TJ away for one slow dance. So, I stayed at the table (at reception) talking with TJ all night. My mom got kinda drunk from the wedding. hehe. I hadn't seen her drunk for so long. She quitted drinking and smoking long time ago. Now, she drinks very very very lightly. Except at the wedding. It was funny watching her being drunk. TJ and I coutinued to yakyakyak at my aunt's home after the wedding. He was staying overnight there, but in seperate beds. :-( Then the next day, we went to a mutal old friend's baby shower. There we saw many old faces. I can't believe Jeannette is a mommy now (her new daughter was born within few weeks after the baby shower). At the shower, I saw few staffs from my hs. Caught up on news with them. Also, old hs friends. Plus, Jeannette's parents and Jennifer's family. It was a real treat. That night was too fast because I talked with everyone. It was also great seeing Maffucci and his finacee who came from Wisc. He lives there now. I told him that I would be coming to his wedding in Greece this July. I can't wait. I had to leave early so I sort of had to have Jaime and TJ leave, also. Jaime was our ride. I wish I stayed at the shower all night, but my cousin (who just got married) wanted to see me one more time before I leave NY also before he leaves for his honeymoon. When I got back to my aunt's, he was late! Waited an hour or so for him.. grr inside me. We talked a bit. I gave him and his wife my present which I spent time creating (it was a wedding blessing basket filled with many things inside). I quickly got bored within an hour after he got there because everyone was chattering at the kitchen table. I was on my sidekick talking with, you guessed right, TJ. See, we never shut up! I was very tired also anyway so I turned in. I was first to go to sleep. Sunday, mom and I left on the same plane and returned to Phoenix. Both Jaime and TJ wanted me to stay longer. She offered me to pay extra for my ticket. I was tempted a few times, but said no. I needed to get back to finding a job here and knew that my cat was missing me as I missed her too.
December= decorated mom's apt with xmas stuff for the first time in ages since I left her home in 98; i built my own gingerbread house which was a real nice feeling.. took me back to when i was a kid, ya know?; went to a sushi/white elephant party; saw that christie abrams was realllllly pregnant and there were other 2 pregnant girls at the party.. made me feel like, is there something in the water??; had a quiet winter solstice day and dinner; also had a quiet xmas day and dinner; also had a quiet nye night.. stayed at home, i wasn't up to asking for a ride to a party that I was invited to. Sometimes I'm sick of asking for rides.
January= had a meeting scheduled with AZ Deaf Theatre this week, but it was cancelled due to weather.. it was raining a lot this week and we were on a tornando watch that night. bummer because I was looking forward to the first meeting. We should be starting our rehersals in a week or so for our play this spring.
