An Arizonan That I Am Temporily
OK, I'm back.
Now, I can be comfortable physcially at my computer because I got a new desk for it and because my new bedroom is a litte bigger so I can sit at my desk freely with more space around me. "New bedroom?", you maybe ponder. Yeah, last week Sunday, I recently moved to Tempe from Phoenix along with my mother. We are now living at a new apartment which is on the 2nd floor. Ah, much better. The pool is right front of our apartment which is nice because I can see the pool from my bedroom window or the living room's balcony's sliding door so I know if there's people in the pool or not. I prefer to go when there's no people or just one to two people. There's more closet/storage space all around inside the apartment. Our old apt was about 675 sq ft. This new place is about 925 or so sq ft. There are 2 bathrooms (both with own showers), yay!
Yesterday, I attended a committee meeting for G.L.O.W.'s fundraiser events plans. I just joined AzRAD's AZ Deaf G.L.O.W. (Gay and Lesbian of the West). We (TJ, Sean and I) went to Casa Grande for the meeting which was held at a public library there because it was agreed between Tuscon and Phx deafies to meet halfway there in Casa Grande. There were 10 people there, some I already knew who and some I met for the first time. It was a meeting full of ideas and debates. I felt that it was a little chaotic so I came up to Carla, who's the chairperson of GLOW, that I was willing to be the Parlimant officer for whenever we have meetings from now on. I guess she took that in and is thinking on it. I will wait until next meeting on June 18th to see what she has to say about it. For now, I am taking on one of committee position for a Luau party that we will be hosting on June 18th. I will be in the charge for activites (mostly water activities). It should be fun. I am looking forward to that.
I think I will stop here for now so I can continue to arrange my room around. There's still stuff to do around here. I probably will come back on tonight so I can give some updates on what I have been doing with myself since I last blogged on Feb. 19th. *smacking on me own head for being on a too long of a haitus*
